ואמר לה יהוה לכן כל קתול קין על תרתי שבעין יתגבי ושוה יהוה לקין סימן לדלא מקתל יתה כל משקחה:

And YHWH said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Qayin, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” And YHWH set a mark on Qayin, so that no one who found him would kill him.
