ויהי בעת יחם הצאן ואשא עיני ואראה בחלום והנה העתודים העלים על הצאן עקדים נקדים וברדים :—

וַיְהִ֗י בְּעֵת֙ יַחֵ֣ם הַצֹּ֔אן וָאֶשָּׂ֥א עֵינַ֛י וָאֵ֖רֶא בַּחֲלֹ֑ום וְהִנֵּ֤ה הָֽעַתֻּדִים֙ הָעֹלִ֣ים עַל־הַצֹּ֔אן עֲקֻדִּ֥ים נְקֻדִּ֖ים וּבְרֻדִּֽים׃

And it came to pass at the time when the flock was in heat, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the male goats that were mounting the flock were striped, speckled, and spotted.
