וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יַעֲקֹ֜ב אֶל־שִׁמְעֹ֣ון וְאֶל־לֵוִי֮ עֲכַרְתֶּ֣ם אֹתִי֒ לְהַבְאִישֵׁ֨נִי֙ בְּיֹשֵׁ֣ב הָאָ֔רֶץ בַּֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י וּבַפְּרִזִּ֑י וַאֲנִי֙ מְתֵ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר וְנֶאֶסְפ֤וּ עָלַי֙ וְהִכּ֔וּנִי וְנִשְׁמַדְתִּ֖י אֲנִ֥י וּבֵיתִֽי׃

Then Yaʿaqov said to Shimʿon and Levi, “You have brought trouble upon me, making me odious among the inhabitants of the land, among the Kenaʿani and the Perizzi. I am few in number, and they will gather against me and strike me, and I will be destroyed, I and my household.”
