ויפץ יהוה אתם משם על פני כל הארץ ויחדלו לבנות את העיר ואת המגדל׃

וַיָּ֨פֶץ יְהוָ֥ה אֹתָ֛ם מִשָּׁ֖ם עַל־פְּנֵ֣י כָל־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַֽיַּחְדְּל֖וּ לִבְנֹ֥ת הָעִֽיר׃

So YHWH scattered them from there over the face of all the earth, and they stopped building the city.
