ונתתי את חן העם הזה בעיני מצרים והשאילום וכחצית הלילה אני יצא בתוך ארץ מצרים ומת כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכור פרעה הישב על כסאו ועד בכור השפחה  אשר אחר הרחים ועד בכור כל בהמה והיתה צעקה גדלה במצרים אשר כמוה לא נהיתה וכמוה לא תסף ולכל בני ישראל לא יחרץ כלב לשנו למאיש ועד בהמה למען תדע אשר יפלא יהוה בין מצרים ובין ישראל וגם האיש משה גדל מאד בארץ מצרים בעיני עבדי פרעה ובעיני העם:—

וַיִּתֵּ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־חֵ֥ן הָעָ֖ם בְּעֵינֵ֣י מִצְרָ֑יִם גַּ֣ם הָאִ֣ישׁ מֹשֶׁ֗ה גָּדֹ֤ול מְאֹד֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּעֵינֵ֥י עַבְדֵֽי־פַרְעֹ֖ה וּבְעֵינֵ֥י הָעָֽם׃ ס

And YHWH gave the people favor in the eyes of the Mitsrayim; also, the man Moshe was very great in the land of Mitsrayim, in the eyes of Parʿo’s servants and in the eyes of the people.
